International Women’s Day 2024 is done and dusted. Stale cupcakes have been tossed out of communal fridges and the purple bunting has been packed away till next year.

For those of you rolling your eyes at this checklist activism, welcome. You’ve arrived at the right place.

Men of Aussie advertising and media, step away from the platters of tokenistic treats and join us for an afternoon of cooking, conversations and actual change instead.

Don’t worry, we won’t be baking cupcakes. We’ll be prepping the finest of Australian delicacies – meat pies – with goods supplied by Infinity Bakery.

Hosted by Masterchef champion and mental health advocate, Brent Draper, and facilitated by Iain Schmidt from Bloke Coaching we’ll chat about some of the big, small and sometimes awkward themes around what it means to be a man, an ally and just generally a good bloke.

Then once the pies are in the oven, we’ll have a big party to celebrate – and eat them. Obviously.
