HOW IT ALL BEGAN

It was International Women’s Day 2021.
Yet another morning of pink cupcakes and boardrooms of women.
In a 24/7 news cycle of sexual assault and harassment in boardrooms,
schools and Canberra, the day felt nothing short of ironic.

And so Fck the Cupcakes was born. An initiative to fight endemic misogyny
365 days a year using what we do best. Creative Communications.

OUR MISSION: LESS ICING. MORE ACTION.

To highlight, discuss and fight against gender inequality in Australian culture

and the workplace. We believe in leveling the playing field for women by

bringing men into the conversation. Without men, there is no cure for gender inequality,

and without men, women cannot thrive.
